MESSAGE FROM CUMBRIA FIRE & RESCUE SERVICE AND CUMBRIA TRADING STANDARDS THE RANGE FAIRY LIGHTS RECALL The Range is recalling some of their Fairy Lights because there may be an unspecified safety issue with the lights flash controller. The Fairy Lights affected by this recall are:- •100 Rice Light Chain 7.95m •Product code – 605433 If you have the affected Fairy Lights from The Range you should stop using them immediately. You should return them to your nearest The Range store for a full refund or store credit. THE RANGE TABLE LAMP PLUG RECALL The Range is recalling 3 of their Table Lamps because the top of the plug may come off, exposing live conductors that could give the user an electric shock. There are 3 table lamps affected by this recall, they are:- •Ivory Two Tone Lamp, Plum Two Tone Lamp and 4 Ball Black Table lamp •They were sold by The Range in 2010 You will need to check the label on the base of the lamp for the following information: •The second part of the Batch No will be one of the following - NL9069-IV, NL9069-PL or NL9027 •The Date of Test will start 2010.02 The first part of the Batch No will be - 201002RG0664 If you have one of these Table Lamps make sure you switch the socket off before you try to unplug it. If you have one of the affected Table Lamps you should return it to your nearest store for a full refund. THE RANGE JEMAA JEWELLED LAMP RECALL The Range is recalling some of their Jemaa Jewelled Floor and Table Lamps because the electric plug has been wired incorrectly. The Live wire has been connected to the Neutral connector and the Neutral wire has been connected to the Live connector. If you have a Jemaa Jewelled Floor and Table Lamp stop using it immediately and check if it is one of the recalled lamps. The Jemaa Jewelled Lamps affected by this recall are:- •Jemaa Jewelled floor and table lamps with Part numbers 463387 or 480056 (these can be found on the silver label of the underside of the lamp). If you have one of the affected Jemaa Jewelled Lamps you should return it to your nearest store for a full refund.
