METAMORPHOSIS (A) "Change is constant" we all say, but do we - TopicsExpress

METAMORPHOSIS (A) "Change is constant" we all say, but do we believe that is it neccessary? If we do, why do we not readily accept it? Metamorphosis denotes a gradual, time taking and usually, inconvenient process of change. it is the process that turns tadepoles to frogs and caterpillers to butterflies. The scriptures talks about we "being changed from glory to glory by the Spirit of God" but it saddens me how christians are so change-resistant and yet they desire glory. God is a change-specialist, if you dont want to change again and again, stay away from Him. He loves you too much to leave you as you are. He prescribes two modules for glory 1. REMEMBER NOT THE FORMER THINGS . . . . . BEHOLD I WILL DO A NEW THING. . . . . (Isaiah 43:18-19) to find the new thing, you must release the past. to become a frog the tadepole must be ready to let go of its tail, as long as having a tail is still important to it, it will never develop the limbs; it will be confined to living in water eventhough it was designed to live in land and water. the greatest enemy of what we could be and have is who we are and what we have. Your past may be good but like Paul in Philipians 3, you must "count the things that are gain to you as loss, forget the past and press forward to the things ahead." You must be ready to leave your comfort zone. what you are now is not all you could be, you can be much more. Ask yourself this question: if my past and present is this glorious, how much more can my future be? . . . .TO BE CONTINUED
