Programmes are designed to enhance each learner’s opportunities to learn new skills and achieve the certification necessary for progression into employment, further training or continued education. The CTC also links with other service providers to increase the choices available to young people in order to enable them to make decisions based on the local availability of a range of options. The Board of Directors invites applications from suitably qualified, enthusiastic and self-motivated individuals for the position of: Acting Manager Applicants should be able to demonstrate: A recognised degree level qualification or equivalent and significant management experience. Financial and people management experience. Strategic and business planning experience Excellent communication and leadership skills Demonstrate initiative and the ability to motivate and work effectively with the board, staff, learners, FÁS and other key stakeholders An integrated, learner centred approach to training programme development and delivery An understanding of key issues in relation to young early school leavers An understanding of FETAC and Quality Assurance accreditation requirements I.T. skills. An understanding of the role of key agencies engaged in the delivery of services to young early school leavers. This is a fixed term, 12 months contract. The salary scale associated with the post is €38,333 to €64,786 which includes two long service increments. Maximum entry points are applicable.
