MIDWEEK NUGGET: UNMERITED FAVOUR, TOTAL DEPENDENCE ON GOD FOR ALL THINGS! Ephesians 2:7-10. 7 That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus. 8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast. 10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. Unmerited favor is usually enjoyed by those who are called by God, and place the totality of their trust in God, who has accepted Christ wholeheartedly, and who are chosen by God for signs and wonders. To them are the exceeding grace of God extended to immeasurably, for those that are born and chosen of God, are of God, and knoweth God. Definition of unmerited favor and exceeding grace are interwoven in believers tenet and teachings, for both speak of the distinctness of life enjoyed in Christ. Todays bible passage illustrate the absolute rights of a believer to enjoy unmerited favor of God through exceeding grace bestowed after salvation, as soon as such believer come to the understanding and knowledge of Christ within. We are to rely solely on God for all things and to follow the dictates of the Holy spirit within through constant and regular influx of Gods word. It is God’s desire for you to succeed in every area of your life, and with His presence in your life, you can! His grace or unmerited favor can swing open doors of opportunities and place you at the right place at the right time for His blessings. Even if you lack the necessary qualifications, skills and experience, His unmerited favor can propel you forward. However there are few important factor to look out for in our victorious journey in Christ. First is genuine salvation and adherence to Gods commandments. A certified child of God redeemed by the blood of Jesus must watch out always to avoid the pitfalls of sin, and also when the unfortunate occurs, and the relapse occurs, to refocus himself and brace up again so as to continually press towards the mark of his high calling in Christ Jesus. We are also warn not to be boastful or unduly proud over the gifts and blessings of God that we enjoy in abundance through grace. We must always remember that freely are we given, and it behoves on us to assist others freely as we have also received. This will go a long way in drawing others to the light of God emanating from us, for our light must shine for the world to see! Salvation is free! Atonement of sin is free! Christ blood offered is free! Unmerited favor and his grace also free! Dont commercialize it! Walk in faith, depend on God, and you will surely experience God always at his best! SMILE, IT IS NOT OVER YET!
