MILLEDGEVILLE, GA – (December 9, 2014) – The family of Baldwin County Deputy Sheriff William E. Robinson, IV would like to thank the individuals and parties who have supported us through the past two decades since his murder on December 17, 1995. As Georgias justice system and the federal courts have played, replayed, visited and revisited the evidence surrounding Wills murder through its due process these nineteen years, we simply have hoped for the judicial process to unfold and to reach a final conclusion. The state has now reached its final conclusion. We ask for the medias respect as we return to our community and as we continue our daily effort of living in Wills example of service, caring, and love of humankind. We extend our sympathies to all families across this nation who have lost loved ones to violence. Further, we extend our support to victims of violence who still fight to be heard or who fight to overcome. Together we as survivors must continue to honor victims lives and to uphold each other in living tribute. May Gods grace be among us and Gods peace be with us all. --- end
