MIRWAIZ UMAR FAROOQ SHOCKED OVER DEATH OF MUFTI ASHRAF... Srinagar: Head of Awami Action Committee, Mirwaiz Umar farooq has expressed regret and shock over the death of former Cheif engineer Mufti Ashraf of Barzulla Baghat. Ashraf happened to be the cousin of Shaheed-e-Millat Moulvi Mohammad Farooq. Mirwaiz Umar Farooq while paying rich tributes to the deceased prayed for the departed soul and beseeched Allah to grant him place in jannah. He described the deceased as humane, soft spoken, and a good human being. Meanwhile APHC Chairman also condoled the death of four persons from Pulwama who died during an accident the previous day. Expressing solidarity with the parents of the deceased, Mirwaiz asked them to remain patient and pray to Allah in these difficult times.
