MISS & MR TOURISM KING SOUTH AFRICA & TOURISM QUEEN SOUTH AFRICA 2013 is HERE!!!! ANYONE can own this title just read on!! This is NOT a beauty pageant it is a pageant aimed specifically for CHARITY throughout SOUTH AFRICA! Here is a brief profile on the competition: The whole aim is to bring CHARITY directly to every town in SA. People are more inclined to listen to or support a Beauty Queen than an individual and since we need so much charity in SA this is a great way of bring charity directly to where it is needed. Imagine this: In SOUTH AFRICA we have eight metropolitan municipalities, 44 district municipalities and 226 local municipalities and this is not counting the thousands of towns that fall within the municipalities. Can you just imagine if we have the following: 12 titleholders per town multiplied by a minimum of lets say 1000 towns that is 12000 titleholders. Now each titleholder will do a minimum of 6 charity events reaching between 10-20 people per event which means approximately One Million people in need will be helped by a simple piece of material which says you are Miss or Mr Tourism King / Queen and the Towns name. Not many organisations in South Africa have the ability to reach so many people, however with the dedication of people who really want to do CHARITY work, this number can increase to MILLIONS! Now HOW can you get this title? It is simple, you PURCHASE the title for your town in your age group which will entitle you to go out into your community to do charity work and do projects which will benefit others. Once you have purchased your winning title to represent your town, you will be able to then take part in our Provincial competition. If you are selected as a PROVINCIAL Winner, then you will go on to represent your PROVINCE as let’s say Miss Tourism Queen Gauteng for instance in our National competition. If you win the National Finals you will then finally have the opportunity to represent your Country South Africa overseas!! Just how can you do this? Well it is easy. Pageants SA will be awarding, successful applicants, their very own "town title" at large so to speak. With thousands of towns in SA your chance of being successful is very easy. You must either live, go to school or work in the town you want to purchase the title for please or have the town as a second home. All you need to do is to contact us and we will send you the entry form and details but remember, the first successful applicant to enter will own the title. You will need to send in a photo of yourself, where you have previously won a pageant (so make sure your sash & crown are clear on the photo - can be any pageant – if you have not won a pageant send in a motivational letter as to why you should have the title) closing date is the 31 October 2013. Entry fee is R500 and you will receive a sash (with your own brand new title), crown & certificate with details of your Regional Final dates. So if you would like to be, for example, for males, Tourism King and females Tourism Queen of Johannesburg or Tourism King / Queen of Cape Town or Tourism King / Queen of Randfontein or Tourism King / Queen of ?.... Whatever your towns name is such as, anything from Alberton in Gauteng to Zeerust in the North West, now YOU can be crowned your Towns Ambassador! Once you have purchased your title, you will have the opportunity to do charity work in your community and also then represent your town at the Regional finals for Tourism King /Queen of Gauteng, Tourism, King / Queen of North West, Tourism King / Queen etc for each of the nine provinces. The TOP 5 in each Province will then compete for the overall title of TOURISM QUEEN SOUTH AFRICA or TOURISM KING SOUTH AFRICA!!! The overall winner of Miss Tourism Queen South Africa or Tourism King South Africa will receive a paid for trip to an International competition!! T,s & C,s apply! Age group will be as follows: Mini 3-4 Tiny 5-6 Petite 7-8 Little 9-10 Pre-Teen 11-12 Petite Teen 13-14 Jnr Teen 15-16 Teen 17-18 Jnr 19-20 Miss / Mr 21-25 Mrs / Sir 26-35 Ms 36+ Each Town Title Holder will be required to do one Charity function every two months in their Town to uphold their title and send details of this function to Pageants SA. All titleholders will compete against all the other “Town Titleholders” in their Province to be chosen as one of the TOP FIVE in their Province to attend the NATIONAL FINALS of the TOURISM QUEEN SA / TOURISM KING SA. The winner in each age group will win a PAID FOR ENTRY to represent their country at an International Pageant. T’s & C’s apply. The National Finals will take place at a date to be advised once all Provincial Finals have taken place. Once you have paid for your title you will receive further notification of the Provincial competition.
