MISTAKES ON FAZS FACEBOOK PAGE Over the past few months or so - TopicsExpress

MISTAKES ON FAZS FACEBOOK PAGE Over the past few months or so FAZ,s page has been punctuated with a lot of errors. Too numerous to mention. Ive kept quiet over this issue for a while but I bring this up because this has been the source of many arguments and complaints Ive had over the last month or so. Just this past week a lot of errors were on the FAZ page. It was indicated that Zesco vs Nkana was on Sunday. Yet the real date was saturday. It was again Indicated that Zambia will play Niger at 18:00, yet the actual time was 17:00. And when the Barclays Cup Draw was made Napsa Stars were shown to be playing twice against Both Nkana and Zesco! Now Imagine that quite a number of people have called and accused me of not giving correct information due to them following the FAZ wall. Because of this Ive on a number of occasions began referring to the FAZ wall for the Information, but on several occasions FAZ after posting information have deleted the post. And most times the original post will have the wrong information. This has at many times left me in a tricky situation, do I go with my own sources which provide me with reliable information and then end up arguing with people who think Im against FAZ because I dont use their source of information? Or do I go with FAZs source of information and then also be found wanting on the numerous times that they have deleted a post leaving me looking like its me who has made the error. Some may ask why dont I talk to the people? I have tried on numerous occasions in the past. To be honest there are a lot of errors on FAZs posts, from dates, Scorelines and Goalscorers to much more. What Id love is for those who operate the FAZ facebook page to improve how they run it. I understand the challenges, sometimes someone can update while on the move and when they are busy, to err is only Human. But when errors are constant and almost everyday they now begin reflecting badly on the credibility of other people who cover Zambian football. Imagine arguing with someone over the score line of a league game and that person believing Im wrong simply because those who operate the FAZ did not take time to put the correct score. FAZ is the ultimate source of information on Zambian Football and the rest of us just supplement their efforts. We are tired of argiung with people over innacurate information. Let the people who post pull up their socks.
