MOM UPDATE! Several of you had inquired and I want to thank you all for your thoughts and prayers! When the first responders came, they found a protrusion on her upper left thigh and thought she might have broken her femur. A broken femur would have required a metal rod and surgery on the hip she had replaced 3 weeks ago. She was in so much pain. But after some X-rays, it turned out to be dislocated. It took them 2 - 3 very painful tries to get it back in place, but no surgery and she walked (sort of) out of the Huntsville Hospital ER 9.5 hours later!!! It set her back a few days, but not the 4 - 6 weeks that surgery would have. She was a trooper!! And she had some wonderful first responders from our volunteer fire department, including Dale Strong!! Thank you Dale! We are so lucky to live where we do :-)!
