MORE than 2,000 Rangers fans will descend on Ashton Gate this weekend for the friendly with Bristol City and they have been urged to arrive at the stadium early. Kick-off is at 12.30pm and the stadium is located more than two miles from Bristol Temple Meads station As such, anyone coming to the fixture by train is advised to give themselves plenty of time for their journey. Supporters coming to the game by car are warned parking space around the ground is extremely limited. Coaches bringing fans to the match are asked to park at the Avonline car park on Ashton Vale Road, where a £20 charge applies. Families who are attending are invited to visit the nearby community park, which will feature an inflatable pitch, target shooting and table tennis.
