#MPs Women Council vows #sustainable development Pakistan Observer Thursday, 31st Oct 2013 #Islamabad #Women parliamentarians, representing different political parties in both the Senate and the National Assembly Wednesday expressed their resolve to work for sustainable development in the country. The resolve was made at the meeting of Women Parliamentary Council for Sustainable Development, a forum facilitated by Sustainable Development Policy Institute in Islamabad. Dr.Abid Qaiyum Suleri, Executive Director, Sustainable Development Policy Institute (SDPI), elaborating the objectives that the WPCSD would extend support to women parliamentarians in areas of research and legislation. He maintained that the #SDPI’s legal wing would also extend its support to the honorable women parliamentarians on legislative drafting.
