MSS Code Factory 1.11.1333 Swing GUI outline complete The outline of the component JPanels and JInternalFrames to be contained by the main windows JDesktopPane have been added to the manufactured Swing layers. The objects are far from complete, of course -- I figure Ill be working on the GUI for a few months at least. But its a good starting point and a broad outline of what I have to do in terms of the windows to be manufactured. This is, of course, purely experimental code. Ive done some work with rule-based JEE/HTML GUIs in the past, and Im basing the Swing GUI on those concepts. I *had* brought the JEE/HTML GUI to the point where you could navigate among the windows to see what was going to be displayed, but without any data binding at all. I kind of scrapped that project as I worked on the data binding, because I realized HTML was too limiting for what I wanted a GUI to do. I have a lot of experience writing GUIs, having spent about 15 years of my career writing them with Neuron Datas tools (last I heard they were now called Blaze software, but that was a few years ago. Suffice to say they had a powerful C/C++ based cross-platform GUI environment long before there were tools like Qt available.) msscodefactory.sourceforge.net/
