#MSwx - Good Morning Mississippi! Put on a jacket before you head out the door this morning as temperatures will start off in the upper-40s this morning. Youll probably be able to lose the jackets by lunch time as temperatures quickly climb into the mid to upper-70s under mostly sunny skies. Yes, the Great Mississippi Sunshine Streak of 2014 will continue today into Day 8 and there is still no end in sight. Temperatures will fluctuate the next several days thanks to the positioning of the high pressure systems that are also helping to keep our skies clear. Well climb into the upper-70s tomorrow, drop into the low-70s through the middle of the week, before rising back into the low-80s by the second half of this coming weekend. Dont forget, well have our second eclipse of this month, this time a Partial Solar Eclipse, on Thursday. It will start at 4:59 PM, peak by 5:57 PM and end when the sun sets at 6:18 PM. Similar to the lunar eclipse earlier this month, youll want to have a clear view of the western horizon! Be safe and dont look at the eclipse without sufficient eye protection.
