MURDER CASE: FRIEND TESTIFIES AGAINST PISTORIUS As an update from the Murder trial of Oscar Pistorius, one of Pistorius’ friends, Darren Fresco, told the court yesterday that the paralymic runner had a flair for guns. He further stated that Oscar fired a shut twice in his presence. Pistorius fired a shut through the sun roof of the car after being stopped by Police at a check point, “Fresco was driving the car in late 2012 when police pulled him over for speeding. (The) officer had picked up the accuseds weapon, to which the accused said You cant just touch another mans gun, Fresco said. He was furious about it, that someone else had touched his gun, Fresco said. Pistorius later that day fired through the sunroof out of the blue ... no warning, Fresco testified that Pistorius fired a shut in Tashas Restaurant, where Pistorius is accused of asking him to take the blame after he discharged Frescos pistol under the table one month before Steenkamps death. The Prosecutors are trying to prove that Oscar Pistorius murdered his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp, against his claim. The court banned further live airing of the case last Monday to avert undue exposure of information about the deceased to maintain her dignity.
