MY DEAR FRIENDS I AM NOSTALGIC TODAY! This month, this year reminds me of a most profound incident i experienced 40 years ago. During such a time in 1972 in a place called Makutano in Cherengani the late Rev Isaac Ojango laid his hands on me according to the dogmatic traditions of the then Church Missionary Society of East Africa - CMS ( which became Church Province of Kenya - CPK and now the Anglican Church of Kenya - ACK) after reciting the Lords prayer, the Grace of our Lord Jesus Christ and the Creed of the Apostles. I was allowed to partake in the Holy Communion. However, what is most profound is that 2 years later after the CMS Church service i walked into a Pende (PAG) worship service to see my cousins and i found them in a disorganised dance and praise moment and i joined them and actually started playing the drums. What happened to me after that is pure bliss. I was filled with joy, happiness peace and blissfulness that i had never experienced before. I felt i was flying yet i could see people around me and that night my parents came to my sleeping quarters to ask if all was well because i was singing in my sleep usinipite mwokozi unisikie unaapozuru wengine usinipite Yesu, Yesu unisikie This was the first time i experienced the Holy Spirit of the LORD GOD! It is 40 years ago in April 1974. He has been faithful despite my weaknesses but i want you to know Him by yourself! Shalom
