MY MESSAGE TO PRESIDENT GOODLUCK JONATHAN. It may not be possible to change every aspect of the Nigeria economy completely in six years but its very possible to lay a solid foundation that can make changes possible. You dont need eternity to make a change. Barack Obama met a very depressed economy when he became the President of United States of America. When Barack Obama was elected on the 4th November 2008 as the 44th President of U.S, the America economy was on it worst meltdown after the Great Depression that swept across America and Europe through the 1930s to mid 1940s. Big companies were closed, unemployment was high. The biggest American auto-mobile, five star Financial Institutions and other giant companies financial records were on red. In fact, it took government strategic intervention (bail-out) to put them on business. At the moment every aspect of the America economy is pointing to positive direction. With my two eyes I see new companies being built in Joliet, Bolingbrook, Romeoville, Naperville, Plainfield and many other suburb around. The economy is booming. On the 1st January 2015, nineteen states in America increased their minimum wage. Confidence have been rebuild and the psyche of an average American is lifted up. . A country is not run on the pages of Newspapers or on Facebook. A nation is governed by decisive and deliberate actions. Like they say, Action speak louder than voice. For any president to improved the living standard of Nigerians, he or she must do the talk. That is lead by example.
