MY PHONE Sometime ago, I had to download an application on my phone! Tried it the first time, but on reaching about 70%, It failed! Tried it several times after the first attempt, with my eyes fixed on it, but on getting to about 70%, it failed again! I was disturbed! I needed that application urgently! Immediately, it just occurred to me, to say a word of prayer, and I did! To my utmost surprise, the ONLY time I called God into that situation, was when I was able to download the application successfully! I was so happy that night! No matter how little or big a challenge is, God has the power to answer all and Hes interested in the little details of our lives! So many of us are like this! We concentrate so much on the challenge or obstacle(phone) before us! We go about complaining, grumbling, and worrying; neglecting the need to fix our gaze on God who has the power over that challenge! Psalm 50:15 says: ...call upon ME in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify ME. Most times we fail to call God into our situations, and try to do it our own way; thereby making us encounter a lot of frustrations or delays that could be avoided! Yes, God knows all our needs, but He still commands us to ASK! Definitely, as a child of God, challenges are bound to come, being a child of God does not exempt you from battles; but our hope and joy is the fact that in the midst of it all, God is ever ready to soar with us and give us victory! My dear brothers/sisters, where would you rather fix your gaze on? The storms or God who has the power to calm the storms? Why not try calling God into that situation today? What is that mountain before you (rising and falling in your spiritual life, need for revival in ministry, job, marital life partner, financial provisions, etc ); God can make it plain if only youll allow Him! Psalm 8:6: Thou madest him(put your name) to have DOMINION over the works of Thy hands; Thou hast put all things under his(your name) feet. This month, God has promised us DOMINION; and Hes ready to give to us many that will ask Him with clean hands and a pure heart! Do have a victorious week. Funmibi Cares but GOD CARES MORE!
