MaRAFon What’s that you say? On the 5th and 6th April 2014, the Regional Development Group, volunteers for the RAF Benevolent Fund, are holding a MaRAFon to raise money for the RAF Benevolent Fund. We are hoping you will all join in. We don’t expect you all to run a marathon or even walk one, what we ask is that you walk, run, skip or drive on your scooter or wheelchair, as far as you can, measure the distance and then get sponsorship for completing it. Every yard that is covered will be added up to make a 26 mile marathon. We hope to achieve at least 3 full marathons over the weekend and raise a significant sum for the RAF Benevolent Fund. TOGS (Terry Wogans Old Gits) Norman Macintosh & Hellen Bach, have experience of running this event with great success. So please start practicing and drumming up sponsorship.
