Made it to gulf shores Alabama today, a place Shani had wanted to go to with her Hammel family. Pretty emotional day for me. Found a remote beach outside of town to camp out on. Enjoyed all the beauty I could find here. Paddled out at sunset and set her pink ribbon afloat. Love you all, please remember just how precious time is, spend time with your loved ones, reach out to those in need, find the bright side of life, complain a little less, live a little more, view life as if you were a child again, without prejudice, without spite, without resentment from your past. Life is a gift, you are a gift, use those gifts wisely. Love a little stronger. Slow down every once in a while and enjoy something you enjoy doing. These losses have been tough on us all, but it helps me to see all the gifts I have received because of her life. Im grateful for every precious moment spent with Shannon Trinidad Hammel and my uncle Buddha. So many thousands of great memories have flooded my thoughts and they make me smile. Miss you always Shani and UB :-) You spirits live on in me forever.
