A slice of scorching July Cake!!!!! How positive do we have to be! It’s just when the sun is shining Ipswich seems a better place to be. Lovely people visit my little shop and spend time chatting and browsing and then treat themselves to a trinket or two. It’s also the time of year when we get overseas visitors sailing into the marina and they add a real flavour to the waterfront. The Dutch are always charming and lots of fun. I shall be bringing some of the shop to the Polo this Saturday at Trinity Park. It promises to be a great day with good weather. I will bring Weiss clothing, bags and jewellery. Entry to Trinity to enjoy the activity is £25 per car. Bring a picnic and get into the chukka and divvets... If you going please drop in and say Hi. I am getting deliveries each week with new bags and jewellery as they are flying out and I just have to buy more to keep the shop looking fresh. I try to post them on my facebook page so please have a look. Cakeandcatwalk1. I have a fun selection of sunglasses, keenly priced at £12. Lots of different styles. (Ever hopeful) Most of my scarves are only £10 each or 2 for £15. Loads of styles and designs... I have been very lucky and had a beautiful video made of me in shop by Barry and Cristina Burns of BoMoJo. It’s very strange looking at yourself (old woman) and I do I really sound like that! Ahhh. Anyway it’s very good, despite the old woman, and I will be posting it on my web site along with a Google virtual tour of the shop, very soon with other exciting news about what’s happening here on the Waterfront. Just in case you have not visited the Tea Boutique in a while, Jane has had to close. It’s very sad and we are all going to miss her and the shop. It’s a real loss for Ipswich as we have few places that sell nice clothes and have a unique teashop experience. She is now deciding what to do with her future but I am sure you all wish her well. I can pass on any regards you have for her. We are coming to the end of season here at the Jerwood.
