Made up my mind to start growing my greys out. But when youve colored your hair for years, you just cant stop on a dime. These things are a complicated science project to consider. That is if you love yourself and want the best for yourself. My last two hair appts. with a professional hair colorist have started the process. Highlights and Lowlights were put in, after a previous appt of switching over to semi-permanent color instead of permanent. The many years of color, and living outside at faires with wind, sun and rain on my coarse curly hair has really taken a toll. And I love my hair. I like seeing older women with long hair. So many cut their hair at this age. I wont. I love long hair. Love it especially on men. You dont see that much anymore either. People tend to follow fashion of whats the big thing. Gone are the days of boys and men growing their hair out. It makes me sad. I want to be me. I am aging. And thats very OK. I will let my wisdom and humor and self effacing personality shine out and encourage others to be who they are... or who they want to be. So far, so good. Its going great. This last weekend, no one really even commented on a big change with my hair, but its there, and the reason why is because its a really natural change over and its gonna grow out fine, methinks. Mehopes. :) I shall walk in beauty and wisdom and humor. I shall be the Crone Goddess that I am. Inside and Out.
