Madhumita Bordoloi shares this recipe where she has used pre ground red lentil flour .You can use a paste of fresh lentils as well masur mahor bor diya tenga (red lentils fritters in a tangy curry) Instructions: Grate ashgourd( kumura) Mix together the red lentil flour(masur maahor guri),salt and turmeric with a few tablespoon of water to make a thick batter. Drop batter by the tablespoon into the oil. Cook until cooked through and golden brown.Remove and keep aside. In a kadhai/wok heat a few tspn of oil,splutter methi/fenugreek seeds,add grated gourd ,salt and haldi nd fry a little. Add tomatoes and cook until they are pulpy. Pour water,bring to a boil,add the fritters/bor(s) nd add lemon juice.Add fresh chopped coriander leaves .....njoy!
