Maegen Update... Well, this is the longest dry spell I ha e had in posting on Maegen. My apologies. Maegen has had a few things that has happened of late. She started a Baclofen trial where they increased the concentration with the hopes that her reservoir in the pump will last longer. So far, so good. She did give us a minor scare yesterday, as we were able to see more of her pump than expected. We did not know it extended near the bottom. We thought that there might have been some leakage, but not the case. Whew! She got her staples and stitches out this week. The neurosurgeon made a household visit. So nice of him. It looks that Maegen is still making small improvements. The main reason for the delays in writing is because we are preparing to move into a new home. This will provide Maegen with her own room and bathroom. The house is basically a single story, but there are two rooms upstairs (game room and media room). Everything else is downstairs. Additionally, the main floor is very open, with wide hallways and tiled flooring (some wood). So we hope all goes well as we are putting our existing home on the market. Maegen has been very calm during this period, as it will be a significant, but good, change for us. We will miss the home we are in, but the new one is more functional and a new start!
