Majority Leader Aden Duale and Nairobi Women representative, Rachael Shebesh, have said that Coalition for Reforms and Democracy (CORD) leader, Raila Odinga, and his entire team were so much idle and need to be kept busy through additional tasks. Speaking in Baringo County yesterday, during the homecoming party of the East African Affairs, Commerce and Tourism Cabinet Secretary, Phyllis Kandie, Shebesh noted the opposition side led by former Prime Minister, Raila Odinga, was not doing its rightful job, instead only bickering about the disbandment of Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC). She called on President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy William Ruto to offer Raila Odinga a job in the Jubilee Government so he can get busy instead of making too much noise. Her sentiments were echoed by Aden Duale, who urged Raila and his CORD team to leave IEBC alone, saying the electoral body cannot be disbanded in funeral rallies or on the roadside as CORD wants it to be.
