Local 38 members of the 3rd shift responded to a well involved structure fire in the 1400 block of Scott Street around 0100 on early Friday morning. Crews encountered heavy fire from the 2nd floor of a 2 story brick. Our two ladder companies have been in the news lately about being broke and only having one at times. Both ladders were used at the height of this fire. Both ladder pipes were delivering between 600 to 900 gallons per minute. These units were huge in containing this fire to the building of origin and only slight damage to the exposure B (south) side. P6, P8, T1, R1, C2 were primary responders P2, T7, A1, A2, A3 were also assiged C3 and C4 also responded
