Make sure before you adopt a Pit Bull that you are prepared for the discrimination that comes with owning this breed. Be prepared to look far and wide for acceptable housing. Be prepared to not take your dogs to dog parks. Be prepared for the need to move because of BSL, be prepared to pay more for homeowners and or renters insurance. Be prepared for a change in lifestyle such as a baby or change in work hours. You make adjustments for what your dog needs or DONT get one, because this is how they suffer till they are euthanized 3 days later, because you no longer had the time, moved, or are having a baby. If you cant handle being responsible do not get a pet!
