Make sure before you get married that the person you are marrying is not a daddys girl or a mommas boy! The daddys girl will always compare you to her daddy, and she will always be found trying to conform you into his image instead of loving and appreciating the person that you are. You will be finding yourself in a forever competition against your father inlaw instead of in a marriage with your wife! The mommas boy is so attached to his mother(the umbilical cord was never cut), that wherever his mother goes, that is where you will go. Your life is going to be controlled by his mother because his mother will always come before you and your children! Listen to God if you all want a solid household-- For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh. Loving and respecting your parents is one thing.. making them our gods is another!!
