[Maligning Ahlus-Sunnah by Calling Them Extremist] Shaykh Rabī’ al-Madkhalī said: Presently, there are people in this arena who are at war with Ahlus-Sunnah, and they lable them Extremist. Thus, their maligning Ahlus- Sunnah with extremism connects them with these misguided sects. They insult Ahlus-Sunnah with extremism because they put ahul-bid’ah in their proper place, just as the Salaf as-Saālih put them in their proper place. They interact with them according to the regulation of Salafiyyah, those regulations which the Salaf used to interact with ahlul-bid’ah based upon. These people do not want this. They do not want you to speak about the Ikhwān al- Muslimūn, Jamā’ah at-Tablīgh, nor any other group. They say: ‘We have a wide and vast methodology. It includes Ahlus-Sunnah and the whole of the Ummah.’ It accomadates Ahlus-Sunnah, and to them, the Ikhwān al-Muslimūn and Jamā’ah atTablīgh are Ahlus-‐Sunnah. The [same] Ikhwān al-Muslimūn sect that pulls close and includes misguided sects. The Rāfidah and all their factions are with them, the Sufiyyah and their factions are with them; all of ahlul-bid’ah are present within the organization of the Ikhwān al-Muslimūn, even Christians enter their organization. However, if you say that they are ahlul-bid’ah, they describe you with extremism. The Tablīgh pledges to four Sufi circles; included in them are those who believe in al- hulūl, wihdatul-wujūd, ash-shirk, innovation and misguidance, and if you say that they are innovators, they describe you with extremism. These people (i.e. those who malign Ahlus- Sunnah by calling them extremist) are some of the most dangerous enemies of Ahlus- Sunnah, so pay attention to them and their plots.
