Mama Mary: The Paradigm of Faith Hers was a faith, not intellectualized but internalized. She simply believed and accepted the plan of God for her life. What she could not understand, she bore in her heart and pondered over it. Though often baffled by circumstances beyond her comprehension, her faith remained unshakable. She was relentless in her hope and never gave up. Would it be easy to follow the plan of God? She did not speculate but simply declared her ‘Yes’ and thereby opened Heaven to mankind. Such a young girl, such tremendous courage, isnt Mary an inspiration? A model of faith? Mama Mary, accept our gratitude for your cooperation in God’s plan for our salvation. We gratefully commemorate the events in your life which could be endured only though faith as you always walked in faith. Intercede for us, Mama Mary, help us to increase our faith, to walk in faith, to endure in faith, to live in faith.
