Mama Question- Is anyone familiar with tax returns enough to help me with a question? I havent worked since my LO was 5-6 months old because he has special needs. This last years return my sons father claimed me and our son because I hadnt worked enough to file. Well his father is a complete douche and I refuse to have our son around his behavior/bad ways. I wanted to know am I capable of still filing my son even though I havent worked? Is there a certain name Id go under instead of whatever name Id file if I had worked? Or is it just impossible for me to file? If so, am I entitled to a certain percentage of my boyfriends return if he claims me & our son? Whatever advice is very helpful. Thank you in advance.
