MamaQ Hello my lovelies. Been a while since I have asked for anything. My husband, myself, our children and my parents live in Arkansas. My in-laws live in Georgia. My MIL has terminal leukemia, my FIL has dementia that is rapidly progressing due to the stress of MILs illness. We have my MIL convinced to move with us and let us take care of her in her remaining days. My FIL is convinced that we are going to get him there and lock him in a nursing home. MIL fell last week and injured her leg very badly. FIL fell while MILs sister had her at the doctor. If it had not been for the fact that the landlord saw him fall, he would have laid in the parking lot for who knows how long. I am asking for light and energy that we can convince him that we only want what is best for him and to take care of him and my MIL. My husband is a nurse, I am a former CNA. My mother and I helped take care of my great-grandmother who had dementia and my grandfather when he had cancer. We are more than capable of taking care of them, IF they are with us. We cannot afford to keep making trips to care for them. It is draining both financially and emotionally. I just want what it best for them. I guess that is all I can ask. Thank you all.
