Man Charged with Voyeurism An ongoing investigation in District 6 has resulted in charges of voyeurism and luring a child by telecommunication. On Saturday, April 5, 2014, we responded to an apartment in the 2500 block of 98 Ave S.W. for a neighbor complaint. A 14-year-old girl alleged that a neighbor, and family acquaintance, had been sending her inappropriate text messages. Throughout the course of the investigation, she also disclosed that she had found a surreptitious recording device installed in her residence, which she believed the neighbor had installed during a previous visit to her home. A search warrant was executed the following day and a substantial amount of technological equipment was seized. The investigation continues as the equipment is currently undergoing forensic examination. Chad Barry Robert Stone, 41-years-old, has been charged with these offences and will next appear in court on Wednesday, May 7, 2014.
