Man United to Launch Stunning Move for Bayern Munich Quartet: One Deal Agreed In Principal Old Trafford side line-up astonishing Allianz Arena raid. Incoming Man United boss Louis van Gaal has set his sights on raiding his former club for as many as four possible summer additions according to the Daily Star. The Dutch national team coach is highly regarded for his work at the Allianz Arena, guiding Bayern Munich to a domestic double and to the Champions League final in his only completed campaign in charge of the German giants, and as such there is perhaps every chance he could persuade a player or two to follow him to Old Trafford though four such signings would be something of a coup to say the least. Man United have apparently already agreed in principle to a deal to sign midfielder Toni Kroos and more Bayern Munich stars could be set to follow. Forward Mario Mandzukic is another target, with the Croatian having apparently already cleared his locker following Pep Guardiolas decision to sign Pole Robert Lewandowski. Van Gaal will look to defender Holger Badstuber to help fill the void left by the departures of veteran pair Rio Ferdinand and Nemanja Vidic. The 25 year old German international missed all of 2013/14 with a anterior cruciate ligament injury and as such it would be a tad risky for Man United to consider a move for the centre-back until he had made a full recovery. Perhaps the most exciting member of this targeted quartet comes in the form of winger Arjen Robben, a player who van Gaal of course knows very well indeed. The 30 year old has been in fine form for club and country and would represent a huge improvement on the likes of Nani, Luis Antonio Valencia and Ashley Young and van Gaal was the man who brought the exciting winger to Bayern Munich back in 2009 and could be confident of repeating the trick this summer.
