Managed to extract a still frame picture from an old bus film. This picture shows the County Cinema and also in shot is the Plough pub (don’t know what it’s called now) The large house on the right was part of a row which stretched down to opposite South Street junction. These house were demolished in the early 60’s and the tenants were relocated in the brand new office Building next to Chaseside Motors in Pegs lane, originally called Crown Court.
