Italian newspaper Gazzetta Dello Sport says Louis van Gaal gave the offer to Vidal’s agent Fernando Felicevich this week – and he has presented to Juventus for them to consider. Van Gaal has liked Vidal since the pair were in Germany and wants to build his new-look side around the 27-year-old. Liverpool and Arsenal have also been linked with Vidal but it’s thought that neither side is considering a rival offer. Real Madrid winger Angel Di Maria reportedly wants to leave the Santiago Bernabeu outfit this summer – with Manchester United said to be ready to make a record £45m bid for the Argentina international according to The Daily Star , Di Maria is unhappy that he has been deemed surplus to requirements at Los Blancos after the club signed World Cup winner Toni Kroos and Colombia star James Rodriguez for a combined reported fee of €110 million this month.The winger was being tracked by Paris Saint- Germain but, while Real’s asking price of about £45m for Di Maria would not be an issue to finance, the French side’s Financial Fair Play sanctions imposed by UEFA earlier this year couldscupper any deal for the player.l With PSG stalling over the transfer, reports claim that Di Maria is leaning towards a move to Old Trafford. However, it’s understood that United boss Louis van Gaal will first assess the strength of his squad before launching a big-money offer for Di Maria in the coming week With Mexican striker Hernandez seemingly on his way out, Uruguay striker Edinson Cavani could take his place in the squad. Reports in Uruguay state that the PSG strikers agent has met with Old Trafford four times in an effort to push through a move. The Qatar-funded French team signed Cavani for £50m from Napoli last summer but they are believed to be looking into the possibility of selling him due to Financial Fair Play rules. 27-year-old Cavani is keen to play for Louis van Gaal and join his Manchester United revolution.
