Agronomist - Zimbabwe Harare Purpose Statement: To create and nurture a sustainable and solid resource base of quality fresh produce for onward supply to retailers. Duties: 1. Visits farmers and identifies new growers; 2. Forecasts production cycles; 3. Plans to ensure products do not run out; 4. Advises farmers on growing techniques, quality specs and post harvest issues; 5. Draws up a summer and winter schedule; 6. Monitors compliance to budgetary limits.
