Manipur requires 150 companies of security forces for Lok Sabha polls Manipurs Chief Electoral Officer O Nabakishore said around 150 companies of Central Paramilitary Forces will be required from outside state if the polling of two Lok Sabha seats in Manipur was held in a single day. In a press interaction held at the DIPR Director room at Moirangkhom old MSRTC complex, CEO Manipur said that the state would need 75 companies of para military forces if the Lok Sabha election was held in two phases in the state. In addition to this the state police and armed police will also be used in the elections, he added.
