Mans Place in the Scheme of Things We only except God for the good and blame the Devil for the bad. But if God is God and controller of all things shouldnt he be held responsible to all degrees and events in life? If only God can take life and the Devil can do so only with Gods permission, then it is safe to say that God is responsible for all deaths. Either God does what he wants and who is man to question or God is limited in his powers and there are forces greater than him? We have this false illusion that God is happy go lucky and all peaceful. God has wrath, jealousy, anger, and hatred. Not all his qualities are kind. People want to be naive and only view God as kind to dilute the pain and suffering in the world. That is a false hope. The lord gives and takes away according to his will not ours. The Devil is not here to oppose God. He is here to oppose us. Once we humans get in our head that we are not on top of Gods list of best creation, we will understand that our salvation is meaningless in the big scope of things. We are filthy rags in comparison and our salvation is no more important to God than a fly to a frog. Who dictates our everyday life? Do we really have free will? Or we dont have will, because thats Gods. So we have free choice? But, how can we really have that? God can intervene and do what he pleases. Job, Pharaoh, Mary, Judas and many others in the Bible were subject to God playing the hand he felt was best. So our destiny is nothing because God controls all and we cant choose our fate. So can we really convict murderers and killers? Maybe they are truly unbeknownst to them carrying out Gods divine plan? Who are we to say different? Many will argue that Satan and the Devil do evil and that suffering comes from him and the actions of man, but once again that would be saying is limited in his ability or he doesnt care like that. A police officer who is a person of authority would get in trouble if he saw a crime and did nothing. So how should we view God, the authority above all authorities? Many will say Im blasphemous and being disrespectful, but the point Im trying to make is that we must surrender our lives to God and realize we hold no merit other than our own desire to want to believe and be accepted by God. Our understanding of God is limited only to ancient writings and faith of these writings. We no nothing of God or his true plans for us. We can only speculate and try to interpret what we know. God will stand all powerful and mighty no matter the actions of man. God plays his game, with his rules, in his stadium. Man is merely a spectator.
