**Many Happy Returns** While there is a change at the top of both the Singles and Album Charts this week they both have former No1’s returning to the summit. On the Album Chart Kodaline take ‘In A Perfect World’ back to No1 for the fourth time giving them a total of seven weeks at the top – the most weeks at the top for any artist over the past few years. They have some way to go, however, to catch Adele whose ‘21’ returned to the No1 spot nine times and spent 35 weeks on top. One Direction reap the benefits of the cinema release of their documentary ‘This Is Us’ in more ways than one. As well as topping the Box Office charts in both the UK and Ireland, their two albums move back up the chart: ‘Take Me Home’ climbs from No6 to No2 while ‘Up All Night’ climbs from No9 to No3. Remarkably neither album has dropped out of the Top 40 since release. The 1975 claim the week’s highest new entry with their self-titled debut release entering at No4, just ahead of Nine Inch Nails whose eighth studio album ‘Hesitation Marks’ gives them their best Irish chart position to date as they land at No5. The third of three new entries in this week’s Top 10 goes to another debut release – Ariana Grande’s ‘Yours Truly’ new at No6. Following the sad death of Seamus Heaney last Friday two of his recordings appear in the Chart this week – his ‘Collected Poems’ enters at No21 while his collaboration with Liam O’Flynn, ‘The Poet & The Piper’ is at No43. It is Katy Perry who returns to the top of the Singles Chart as ‘Roar’ jumps back up a place from last week’s No2 while Avicii also climbs back a place with ‘Wake Me Up’ to occupy the No2 position. Finbar Furey drops from last week’s top spot down to No3 but as the winner of last week’s The Hit final, his entry ‘The Last Great Love Song’ has the best second week of any of the other entrants. Ellie Goulding is a non-mover at No4 with ‘Burn’ while OneRepublic’s ‘Counting Stars’ completes the Top 5, back up from No6. Macklemore & Ryan Lewis continue their steady climb in the right direction, up from No11 to No6 this week with their third Top 10 single ‘Same Love’. https://youtube/watch?v=tEVXmzHY1lU
