Many Joined PDP at Bhaderwah MOHD MAJID MALIK BHADERWAH ,Sept 18--- Jammu & Kashmir People Democratic Party Bhaderwah organized a Joining Programme led by its contesting candidate from Bhaderwah Sheikh Mehboob Iqbal in which a number of prominent people joined PDP leaving other party. Sheikh Welcome their decision of joining PDP and assured them to come up with them at every movement and struggle with them for their rights, development and basic needs.He flayed Omar Abdullah led Coalition regime for its failure to solve day to day problems of common masses specially unavailability of Gas Cylinder and Unemployment of Youths. During about 4 years situation in the state has been deteriorating because Omar Abdullah led Govt. was pursuing anti people policies. Sheikh said the State has been plunged into un precedented crises due to wrong policies of Chief Minister Omar Abdullah and his cabnit has failed to connect themselves with the Sheikh Welcome their decision of joining PDP and assured them to come up with them at every movement and struggle with them for their rights, development and basic needs. Abdul Hafeez Wani ,Thakur Daljeet Singh, Mohd Aslam Khan and Mohd Ishaq Khan all who joined party recently expressed satisfaction that PDP’s agenda of development was now seen positively not just in Kashmir Valley but in Jammu and Ladakh regions also. “It is really a matter of satisfaction for our party that people of Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh regions have connecting themselves with PDP and this party has earned credibility and faith of the people of all regions and sub-regions of the state”, they said and added that people of Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh were also treating PDP as their real voice because leadership of this party has earned faith and trust of the people by its convictions and commitments.They said even if the dismal developmental situation because of mis-governance is same everywhere in the state but people living in rural and far flung areas are the worst suffers of the wrong policies of the present government.they also said people are being deprived of basic amenities at the cost of comfort and luxuries enjoyed by the families of the present dispensation led by National Conference. “People are not getting enough rations to feed their families. To add to their woes are the cumbersome procedures adopted in LPG gas registration and its unavailability and black marketing. There is no electricity or any alterative fuel available to people when the people started reeling under the weather vagaries of the winter,” They observed.Thakur Yudvir Singh , Daljeet Singh , Shokat Malim and other said the prevailing gas crisis has once again exposed the present government which does not feel ashamed to see the people standing in long queues in freezing temperatures to get hold of a gas cylinder. He regretted that a gentleman had lost his life in pursuit of a gas cylinder and that should represent the lasting shame of the present coalition. Criticizing the government for introducing an element of discrimination in development They said the previous coalition had extended the development process evenly across regions and sub regions to all areas irrespective of political affiliations. He said though the entire state was facing acute problems on account of rampant corruption, misgovernance and political bankruptcy of rulers the government had singled out areas represented by opposition for maltreatment. He said the planning process had been subverted and the chief minister was utilizing plan funds as if it was his discretionary grant.
