Many hipsters have thrown their support behind Cannabis products with regard to legalization for both medicinal and recreational use. Unfortunately, unlike someone who researches the topic for a living, or is at least intellectuality honest about the subject, hipsters have the tendency to only speak of the benefits while undervaluing the costs. In some cases such individuals completely deny obvious facts such as the association between schizophrenia and long term use, or the fact that more research may be needed on the subject in order to answer some of the issues related to cannabis products, and their effect on both the individual and society.
