Many of you have inquired about Lilly, the lovable bully for whom we raised money to cover extensive knee and hip surgeries last year. We love to report she is absolutely thriving in every way. Special thanks to everyone who donated, and especially Kathryn, Gerry, Sui, and Bertha for their long-term care and rehabilitation. Hey there NOBR!! We have had Lilly for several months now and it feels like she has been with us for years. She fits right in with our family and is best friends with our prior Boxer, Bruno. Lilly has turned into a little farm dog who loves to ride in wagons, on four wheelers and occasionally cuddle with the horses. She is an absolute sofa hog and a blanket thief.. Lilly thinks she is a lap dog, and with the slightest glance she will lunge in your lap. Totally obnoxious but so funny at the same time. Eli (4) loves giving Lilly hugs and our 8 month old can not get close enough to her. When we have company, they rarely notice she walks funny. Her improvement with swim therapy is wonderful, and she always pants her foot correctly. Count her steps to FIFTY, she never steps on her knuckles. She is really an amazing little dog.
