Many of you know that during the primaries I was very outspoken about my chosen candidate for State Superintendent of Public Instruction. We now have 2 choices - Mike Ceballos or Jillian Balow. While Jillian wasn t my first choice - she is certainly the correct choice for the general election on Nov. 4th. The beauty of our political system allows for us to vet our candidate - and did I EVER vet Mrs. Ballow. While its true she did not initially come out against common core - it is evident (not just from this video) but from several conversations both myself, Bill Hooley and others have had with her, that she is aware and learning that concerned parents are NOT in it for the politics - they are in it for their KIDS! She states that she has learned that those speaking against Common core are actually a majority - NOT a vocal minority! She has listened to us and is prepared to do what she can to let our voices be heard! NOW as to Mike Ceballos - he has ZERO education experience AND listening here he JUST WANTS TO IGNORE PARENTS AND TEACHERS THAT ARE CONCERNED AND MAKE THEM CONFORM TO HIS WISHES.
