Many of you may know that tomorrow, Tuesday, March 25th, will be a crucial day for religious liberty in our nation. The Supreme Court will be hearing oral arguments in the challenge to the Conscience Protection/HHS mandate, brought by two private employers, Hobby Lobby and Conestoga Wood. This case has great significance for the ability of individuals, private companies, and religious organizations to live and operate according to their religious beliefs. I would also encourage you If you have a Hobby Lobby location near you (Middletown and Poughkeepsie) it would be great to call them and speak with a manager to let them know that you are grateful for their witness and perseverance in this lawsuit and that you are praying for them. Tomorrow is the beautiful Solemnity of the Annunciation of the Lord so let us ask our Lady’s powerful intercession in a special way for a great victory to protect religious liberty in our nation.
