Many of you may not know, but before I started 4D Mommies, I was a pediatric stem cell transplant nurse at Childrens Hospital. For those of you who dont know what that is, it is one of the last lines of treatment for children with cancer. Transplanting the most basic of cells into a little body, in a last effort to save a childs life. I watched many families come and go, watched families daily pray, cry, and fight to save their childrens lives. I was honored to become a part of their lives and family for a while, and was touched by every single one of them. September is PEDIATRIC CANCER AWARENESS MONTH. Id like to ask that each of you help us in the effort to raise awareness about this disease by making one of the ribbons below your profile picture this month.
