Many of you may not know but we will be holding elections for our new 2013-2015 Board of Directors. Every 2 years nominees are eligible to run and possibly be elected for a board of director position. We are rapidly approaching the end of term for many of our board members. All positions are open for election of nominees expect for the presidency. We will be doing nominations for the following positions this week: Vice President Secretary Treasurer Tackle Director Cheer Director Flag Director Tackle Equipment Director Cheer Equipment Director Concession Director Communications Director Sponsorship Director Merchandise Director Parent Coordinator If anyone is interested in becoming a board member of our 2013-2015 Board of Directors please contact Naomi Perri, Parent Coordinator at 321-610-0865. A flyer will be handed out tomorrow at practice and nominees can select the position they are interested in running for. Then, at practice on Wednesday and Thursday we will have a nomination box at table near the pod for nominees to have their name placed on the ballot. Election Day will be held on Saturday, October 26, 2013 at 10am at Bayside High School Gymnasium. Important: ALL NOMINEES MUST BE PRESENT AT 10AM on OCTOBER 26 in order to accept the nomination. Our President Wayne Strawser will start speaking at 10am and introduce the nominees. Nominees must introduce themselves in a Town Hall Meeting fashion. Immediately following the Town Hall Meeting and after nominees have accepted the nomination, VOTING will be begin. Please encourage your player and cheerleader parents to come out and vote on this day! Voting will take place and then votes will be tallied. Information will be given regarding the Holiday Parade and our End of Year Banquet. Elected officials will be announced as soon as the votes are tallied. Following Election Day all new Board of Director Members will have to attend the December 2013 board meeting and will get information from the previous Board of Director Members.
