Many people have recently joined Were Mad About Greece and the Greek Language. Its easy to join a FB group without giving it too much thought; you just click a button. Perhaps some people, therefore, arent aware that WMAGGL is the brainchild of one person - Rose Robinson, who still does all the moderating and admin on her own, even though the group now has over two thousand members, and grows every day. Rose started to learn Greek thirty years ago. Eventually, she became a teacher. That takes an extraordinary amount of talent and commitment; as someone who is still struggling with the basics of the language, I can vouch for that! I believe she still does some teaching, as well as holding down a day job and running this group. I should like to thank Rose for all the time and enthusiasm she puts into this group. Its great to be involved with something so positive; it makes a welcome change from the rather grim workday e-mails and messages that await me every day. WMAGGL has members from all over the place, and I think we get on rather well. Thank you Rose.
