Many people have the goal of wanting to speak with a perfect native accent. I admit--I am the same exact way when I study other languages! But the truth is, accents are not only adorable, but they represent ones identity and home culture. Those are beautiful things that should not be easily discarded. So, when you are studying pronunciation, I recommend studying with the goals of being clear, confident and persuasive when you speak--not with the goal of sounding exactly like a native speaker. Celebrate yourself and your home culture through your language and your accent.
