Many people take offense when I use the term TEA Bagger. I do not use that term lightly. Originally from Boston, I have a strong sense of what the real Tea party stood for. It stood for the little people. It had had it when the British East India Company was given NO Tax status, and all the colonies had to pay a tax. The Tea (little e and a) Party was a revolution against corporatism. The TEA Party, (Big E and A) is against taxes, but not for the little guy, it is against Corporate Taxes. Like the Carpet Baggers from the North, they swoop in and clean up. I detest that the Billionaires have subverted the real intent of the TEA Party. There are good people in that party who want to do the right thing. But since the money that fuels the TEA Party is from the BIG GUYS, their agenda is all that gets done.
