Many thanks for your contributions to the Economic, Social and Cultural Impact Assessment into Bristol City Council’s Discretionary Rates Relief policy. There is one more step in the process to do. The Economic, Cultural and Social Impact Assessment was designed to give Bristol City Council a better understanding of the past value that the discretionary rates relief scheme has brought to the city and the findings of the report are being used to shape the new discretionary rates relief policy for 2014-16.They are also running a public consultation which gives us, the public, a final opportunity to give our opinions about the proposed changes to the policy. There is an opportunity to respond to this consultation here https://citizenspace/bristol/deputy-chief-executive/drr2013/consult_view . The consultation closes on 25th September 2014.
